Tsurune’s Background

Tsurune is a light novel by Kotoko Ayano that Kyoto Animation converted into an anime series in 2018. Three volumes have been released as of 2022 under Kyoto Animation’s KA Esuma Bunko banner.

The plot centres around Minato, a student in high school who has grown up adoring archery but has now developed a target fear. Nonetheless, he gets recruited into a high school archery club and, along with his team and instructor, discovers the true meaning of his desire.
