The original anime ‘Opus Colors’ is set to premiere in spring 2023, according to its official website. The announcement was accompanied by a stunning key visual that highlighted the protagonists, Kazuya Yamanashi and Kyo Takise.

The notion is based on a recently established concept known as ‘Perception Art,’ which is a type of digital art that influences a person’s senses of touch, smell, sight, and hearing. Perception Art, as disclosed in the official summary, has grown incorporated into everyday life in the previous 10 years, and it requires a partnership of an artist and a grader to create.

Kazuya Yamanashi is the son of well-known artists and Perception Art pioneers. He has enrolled in Eisen High School with his boyhood friend Jun Tsuzuki, with ambitions of becoming an artist himself.

Kazuya, on the other hand, is at Eisen to restore a damaged friendship with Kyo Takise. Kyo, the son of a grader, was a childhood friend of Kazuya and Jun but began avoiding them after an incident.
