[Update] Raw scans, Spoilers, and Publication Date for One Piece Chapter 1070

After Lucci attacked Sentomaru and infuriated Luffy, it appears that the two will continue their fight in One Piece 1070. The Seraphims are also fighting CP-0, thus this skirmish may easily escalate into a full-on brawl.

Lucci attempted to assault Luffy in the last chapter, but Stussy and Kaku warned him that doing so could lead to war. Then, after seeing that Atlas was badly hurt, Luffy turned on Lucci. In the Marine Corps Headquarters, Akainu inquired about Kizaru and was informed that he had already gone for Egghead island.

While Lucci battled in his resurrected form on Egghead Island, Luffy used his Gear 5. This shape resembled Lucci’s hybrid appearance extremely closely. After Sentomaru gave the order, S-Bear launched an assault on CP-0. Bonney was being carried by Jinbe and Chopper as they ran. Kaku and Stussy were engaged in combat with S-Bear. The combat was being watched by Nami and others on monitors.

Nami explained to Vegapunk that this is the magic of dragon fruit when he asked about Gear 5. In Vegapunk’s opinion, Luffy resembled Nika, a god. Returning to the battle between Luffy and Lucci, we see that Luffy is enjoying himself. Later, he switched to a different strategy and severely wounded Lucci.

After that, Sentomaru told Luffy how he was once impoverished, but Vegapunk helped him out, and so now he’s fighting CP-0 to repay the favor. As Sentomaru and Luffy conversed, Lucci regained his composure and launched a handgun strike, gravely wounding Sentomaru. This astonished and enraged Luffy.

Starting next week, readers of the One Piece manga will be treated to an unscheduled break; the much anticipated One Piece 1070 will not be available again until December 25th, 2022.
