We had already seen the glimpse of Vegeta’s new form in the previous chapter. Many of us were speculating it to be a God of Destruction form like Toppo’s. Even though it seems to be derivative of that, this power is truly Vegeta’s.

Dragon Ball Super manga chapter 75 reveals Vegeta’s Ultra Ego form against his fight against Granolah. This new form allows him to gain more power as he takes more damage during a battle.

Despite Vegeta’s obvious wordplay on Goku’s Ultra Instinct power, the two forms couldn’t be more different. He stops dodging all of Granolah’s attacks in this form to gain more while Goku completely dodges all attacks in his UI form.

He explains, unlike Goku’s body which has a mind of its own, his is all ego. This seems to be the perfect way to manifest Vegeta’s pride which has landed him in trouble in the past. His training with Beerus has finally paid off.

This new form is the personification of the Saiyan warrior spirit which has been a background theme throughout the series. We have seen Saiyans getting stronger as they fight, but this just takes throws the concept in your face.
