The anime tells the story of female pilots known as Valkyries who are assigned the role of saving humanity and eradicating mysterious enemies called Pillars by the Norse God Odin himself.
According to the anime’s original website, episode 9 of Warlords of Sigrdrifa was supposed to be released on 28th November 2020 but it has been delayed and episode 8.5 will be released on 28th.

The visual poster for the anime revealed the characters Claudia, Sonoka, Azuzu and Miyako.
The anime has two light novels as prequels and also a spin-off manga making the project a grand success among fans. The anime premiered its first episode on 3rd October 2020.

Directed by Hirotaka Tokuda, the anime has some beautiful opening and ending songs. The opening song is “Higher’s High” by Akari Nanawo and the ending song is “Sayonara Namida” by Spira Spica.
The anime’s story focuses on Claudia Braford, a german Valkyrie sent to Japan to fight the unknown pillars.
She will not only fight for humanity but also find friendship and culture when she meets her teammates in Japan and live her life to the fullest.
Episode 8 released on 21st November reveals the Pillars’ true purpose for attacking humanity. They were hunting Odin and when he found out about their true purpose he quickly fled a parallel universe world completely different to Midgard.
With Episode 9 delayed the fans are very curious about what is to happen next. We will update as soon as we see any news of Episode 9 release date so make sure to check back later.

Warlords of Sigrdrifa is an original by Studio A1 Pictures featuring maidens of war who battle a threat called the Pillar.
The story revolves around battle maidens Valkyries, who use planes called “HeroCraft” as their wings. They were bequeathed to humanity by Odin as a counter-attack against The Pillars, who had suddenly appeared above Earth, threatening humanity.
The story takes place several years after The Pillars’ appearance where the battle between humanity and Pillars rages on, with men supporting the Valkyries as they fight against them in the skies of Japan.
Three Valkyries fight against a giant Pillar looming over sacred Mt. Fuji only to find an ace Pilot for Europe joins their squad.
