Was Sasuke’s Rinnegan Stolen By Boruto? Will He Be Able To Retrieve It?

Sasuke’s path in Boruto might be seen as a form of redemption, making him one of the best anti-villains in the Naruto series. The old guard, however, must be weakened when the next generation arrives. This was also the case in the Boruto anime. As a result, Sasuke no longer had the Rinnegan.

While Sasuke tried to persuade Boruto that everything was fine, we can all agree that this was a devastating loss for him. This leads us to our next inquiry. When/how will he reclaim his Rinnegan?

Sasuke’s Rinnegan was destroyed in episode 218 “Partner” when Boruto, under the control of Momoshiki, stabbed him in the eye with a kunai. He could no longer use space-time ninjutsu, destroy planets, or absorb chakra like a Rinnegan.

Is it impossible to recover Sasuke’s Rinnegan?

Sasuke is extremely unlikely to reclaim his Rinnegan. Story-wise, it’s time to switch gears and focus on Boruto and company; Sasuke’s Sharingan is all he has left. Neither Naruto nor anyone else will ever have a tailed beast.

However, it is necessary for the plot at this juncture. Sasuke’s Rinnegan abilities could save Naruto from Daikokuten since Naruto is trapped there as well.

So, what would happen if Hercules regained his abilities? I propose two hypotheses.

Theory #1: He Never Lost It

Sasuke may no longer require the use of the Rinnegan, according to a prominent theory.

The Uchiha clan is called “Kekkei Genkai” because all of their supernatural talents are innate. If you lose your eyes, you may lose some of your powers, but it won’t be all of them.

Since Sasuke is a direct descendant of Indra and, by extension, Hagoromo, he possesses all the Rinnegan skills already and just requires a means of activating them.

Sasuke can replicate the Rinnegan with the help of scientific prodigy Amado, master healer Sakura, and Uchiha anatomy expert Orochimaru.

Theory #2: Naruto Has Hagoromo Ancestors As Well

In the alternative, Naruto’s Ashura abilities are taken into account.

When in Ashura form, it is common knowledge that Naruto can cure any illness with a single touch. He even managed to fix Kakashi’s eye. A lot of people think he can replicate the feat with Sasuke’s Rinnegan as well.

This seems improbable, though, given that Naruto has presumably already crossed over to Daikokuten. And at this point, he’s helpless and in need of rescue.

After giving up the Rinnegan, has Sasuke become weaker?

Since Sasuke lost most of his heavenly powers along with Rinngena, he is well past his prime. Space-time ninjutsu, destroying planets, and absorbing chakra are all abilities he no longer possesses.

Sasuke was able to teleport to any location and remove any obstacles thanks to his Rinnegan, which he used to control space and time. Amenotejikara is his power that allows him to change the location of anything.

Because of this skill, he can also mount an unstoppable offensive attack. Rinnegan also endows Sasuke with the might of the Six Paths in addition to these skills. His power has been diminished as a result of losing all of his skills.

• Space-Time Ninjutsu
• Amenotejikara
• Six Paths of Pain
• Rinnegan Genjutsu

Sasuke Will Benefit From Losing Rinnegan

This might go in either direction if Sasuke loses his Rinnegan abilities for good.

Sasuke, after gaining Rinnegan, is not the same unstoppable force he once was. Sasuke Uchiha was 10 steps ahead of his rivals because he was a master thinker. He was successful in his battle against Orochimaru. OROCHIMARU!!!

However, he has recently been caught off guard, first by Kinishiki and then by Borushiki, and this trend has persisted since the beginning of the Boruto manga.

In addition, ever since he acquired the Rinnegan, the Uchiha who is no longer a brat has had trouble conserving his chakra.

Perhaps this will be the means by which he develops as a warrior.

Sasuke Could Still Have Some Of His Abilities

It’s possible that even if Rinnegan is gone, he could still make use of this eye’s abilities in some way. It has been speculated that he may retain some Rinnegan powers.

Madara Uchiha was able to use the Rinnegan while lacking the eyes, allowing him to absorb chakra and travel to Limbo, among other abilities.

Similarly, Sasuke may retain some or all of his talents, though his access to more advanced techniques will be limited.

He also retains his Sharingan and Mangyeko Sharingan skills. We must not discount his skills, and his ninjutsu is still formidable.

Reasons why Sasuke should have kept his Rinnegan all along

I’m sorry if I come across as critical, but even if I’m a huge Naruto fan, that doesn’t mean I want to trash Borutor’s entire “existence”. Even while I hate the idea of my childhood hero being replaced, I think it’s for the best that Naruto and Sasuke were weakened.

However, the stupidity with which it occurred is quite irritating. The person already possesses some extraordinary talents thanks to the Sharingan, such enhanced sense of direction and the ability to analyze an opponent’s movements.

And we’ve seen him put such abilities to action from a young age, reading his opponents’ chakra and anticipating their moves. He has also advanced to the Mangekyou Sharingan and beyond, all the way up to the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, which is essentially two steps above the standard Sharingan.

You’d think someone with his level of strength would be able to see a kunai approaching from miles away.

It’s hard to take the writers seriously when they have us believe Sasuke could suddenly lose his Rinnegan. In theory, he should have been invincible thanks to his keen eyesight. It’s as if they don’t care about his years of experience and education.
