There is no shortage of formidable characters in demon slayer, from the Hashira’s with superhuman power to the blatant demons that defy reality.
Of course, this raises the question of which protagonist is the most powerful Demon killer. Is this the fabled ancestor of all Hashiras or just one of them? Is it our main character, another secret op, or the boss-sama of all demons?
We have compiled a list of the top 10 strongest characters in demon slayer based on their exploits and fights after reading the complete manga and conducting extensive research.

Top 10 Demon Slayer Characters With The Most Power

10) Muichiro Tokito
Muichiro Tokito, the youngest of the Hashira, is first on our list because of the acclaim he has received as a child prodigy. After only two months of training, Muichiro has already attained the level of Hashira and is more than capable of taking on even the likes of Genya, a Hashira known for his strength and stamina.
Muichiro, being the sole assassin of higher moon 5 Gyokko, justifiably earns his place here.
9) Giyu Tomioka
Currently, Giyu Tomioka serves as the demon slayer corps’ water Hashira.
Our soft-spoken Hashira is not to be underestimated; he dispatched the lower moon 5 Rui with the ease of squatting a bug, and he can hold his own against the upper-rank number, Akaza. Azaka also considers our Hashira to be the strongest water Hashira he has ever fought, and he can stall Muzan for a respectable amount of time all on his own.
8) Sanemi Shinazugawa
Even though Sanemi is the current wind Hashira of the demon slayers corps and has been known to spar with Giyu to a draw, we still ranked him higher than Giyu.
Because he engaged Upper rank one Kokushibo in single combat with the aid of Giyu and Muchiro; this person gave the strongest demon under Muzan a run for his money.
7) Akaza
It was exciting to hear Akaza, our favorite enemy from demon slayer, brought to life in his own epic OST. Akaza, the third-best moon in the sky, is not to be trifled with.
Tanjiro dealt a severe blow on Akaza, but it was not enough to kill him. Akaza then killed himself when he recalled his prior human life, having murdered Kyojuro Rengoku in battle.
6) Tanjiro Kamado
In the beginning, Tanjiro was just a coal burner, but by the end, he was the one who delivered the killing blow to the demon king.
Tanjiro was able to join the rest of the demon slayer corps and even come close to killing Giyu, the water Hashira, after enduring the rigors of the Hashira training arc.
Using the sword and breathing methods of the original demon slayer, Tanjiro defeated Muzan and ushered in a new age for the demon slayer corps and Hashira.
5) Doma
Doma, the demon of Upper Moon 2, is responsible for the deaths of Hashira Kanae Kocho, the previous flower, and Hashira Shinobu, the previous insect.
Doma is so much stronger than Azaka, who is only one level below him, according to Azaka. Doma uses Cryokinesis, a blood demon art he perfected, to kill with devastating efficiency.
Doma was poisoned by shinou, and no one in the series has ever been able to kill him in a direct confrontation before.
4) Gyomei Himejima

Sanemi, Gyomei, Muichiro, and Genya—three of whom bore demon slayer marks—joined forces to inflict Kokushibo with a single deadly injury, but he shrugs it off and keeps fighting.
2) Muzan Kibutsuji
In addition to being the progenitor of all demons and the murderer of untold numbers of humans and demon slayers, Muzan Kibutsuji also spent his life striving to become the ideal human being.
He is responsible for the deaths of Tanjiro’s loved ones, the transformation of Nezuko into a demon, and is the only demon capable of transforming humans into Demons.
The demon king immediately changed the tables of the fight with his thigh whips, permanently damaging Tanjiro’s eye and slicing off Giyu’s arms, despite Muzan Kibutsuji’s best efforts to beat all four Hashira’s with demon slayer marks: Kanao Tsuyuri, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira.
1) Yoriichi Tsugikuni
Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the progenitor of all demon slayers and the only person Muzan feared so much that the sight of a pair of earrings was enough to send shivers down his spine, of course.
Some believe that Yoriichi was sent from on high to put an end to Muzan, as he was born with the demon slayer mark without the negative effects that shorten the demon slayer’s life span.
He effortlessly dodged all of Muzan’s blows and gravely harmed Muzan with only one hit permitting our demon king to escape by blowing himself up into 1800 flesh pieces.
Consider that in the last arc of demon slayer, it took the combined efforts of the whole demon slayer corps, tens of Hashiras, and even other demons to corner and barely defeat Muzan, but our Yoriichi effortlessly soloed the final boss and had him escape after only one attack.
