We’ve heard of “Kaguya-sama”, “Miss Nagatoro, don’t toy with me!”, “Your lie in April”, the other romance anime with the quiet girl, “Rascal does not dream of bunny girl” and so on. But so far we’ve never seen anyone talk about “Words bubble up like soda pop”
The story involves two people, one quiet boy Cherry, and a bubbly charming girl but who’s self-conscious about herself, Smile.

Both didn’t know each other until they bumped into each other and accidentally swapped cell phones. Until they finally befriend and get to know about more each other during summer
This anime is wholesome, not to mention one of those simple “opposites attract” tropes.
What we noticed about this series is that it usually has a simple yet artistic and colorful art style. The art styles on the humans are different, unlike most animes. We are pretty sure the devs are trying to steer clear from the stereotypical anime look. Nevertheless, they did a great job.

So yeah, we know it’s pretty new but it’s kinda disappointing that not a lot of people are talking about it like how people talk about other romance animes. But then again, it’s all in the matter of tastes.
