Yamato 2205: Part II’s New PV Teases Starsha’s Fate and February Premiere
Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Voyage is anticipating its second film’s premiere next year.
The sequel two-part film has been keeping fans on their toes with Dessler’s journey to find a new mother planet, and the new trailer has just increased the anticipation.
As the next part of the film will conclude the sequel, the stakes are high as fans know how tragedy awaits at every corner of the anime.
Space Battleship Yamato 2205: The New Voyage Part II: Stasha will be released on February 4, 2022. The film is set to premiere in Japanese theaters but might get licensed in English within a few months.
The trailer once again reminds us of the ongoing conflict between the Bolar Federation, the Black Fleet, and Dessler’s army.
It shows bits and parts of the main plot of the movies, and Starsha’s glowing form gives me hope for what’s to come. The subtitle of the film also draws attention to her role.
This three-way conflict is leading to heightened tension as all parties involved are desperate to fulfill their own causes.
Just like the previous installments to the franchise, the upcoming film will also receive BluRay and DVD release as soon as the movie is released.

The new duology draws inspiration from the 1979 film Space Battleship Yamato: The New Voyage. A lot rides on the second part as the conflict is yet to come to an end.
Although many of you might have already anticipated the finale, I’m still keeping an eye out for an original ending.
