It hadn’t even been an entire month since they dropped the announcement of their manga and light novel titles releasing in October, and Yen Press is here again with another huge announcement.

This weekend, Yen Press teased and announced the 6 Manga and 4 Light Novel titles that will be released in November 2021.

The various exciting manga titles scheduled for the release are as follows:

1. The Hero Laughs While Walking the Path of Vengeance a Second Time 

The Hero Laughs While Walking the Path of Vengeance a Second Time (Nidome no Yūsha wa Fukushū no Michi o Warai Ayumu) is a dark isekai manga by Nero Kizuka and Yamo Yomoya. 

Come….let vengeance commence.

The story is about Kaito Utage, who sets on a quest to slaughter his former allies who betrayed him.

2. Let This Grieving Soul Retire

Let This Grieving Soul Retire is a manga written by Tsukikage and illustrated by Rai Hebino. 

It tells the story of a peculiar protagonist named Krai, who promises his best friend to become the best treasure hunter but soon realizes that he possesses absolutely no talent for the job!

3. Namaiki Zakari

Namaiki Zakari (Full Bloom Cheekiness) is a shoujo manga written by Mitsubachi Miyuki. 

The story centers around Yuki Machida, the eldest of five siblings, who has repressed her emotions since childhood. That is until Sho Naruse enters her life and turns it upside down.

4. I’ve Been an Omega Since Today

I’ve Been an Omega Since Today (Kyou Kara Omega ni Narimashita) is a yaoi and slice of life manga written by Maiki Sachi. Based on the friends-to-lovers trope, this manga is about high-school students Kanade and Munechika.

They live in a world where Beta-Alpha pairings aren’t compatible physically. Kanade is a Beta and has lost all hope of romance with his best friend Munechika as he is an Alpha. But what happens when Kanade tries to be an Omega? We will find out soon!

5. The Splendid Work of a Monster Maid

The Splendid Work of a Monster Maid (Kaibutsu Meido no Kareinaru Oshigoto) is an isekai supernatural manga written by Yugata Tanabe. It features Sumire, a ‘nekomata’ or a phantom demon cat who has lost her master.

In order to get back her master, she now works for a president of a company in the Demon Realm alongside an undead and an android!

6. Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Wraith Arc

Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Wraith Arc (Mahō Shōjo Madoka☆Magica [Majūhen]) is the 7th spin-off manga series of the Puella Magi created by Hanokage. It is a fantasy manga based around the concept of magic and witches. 

The story centers around the disappearance of all the witches from the past, present, and future and their replacement by demons (wraiths) who feed on emotions. The magical girls will now have to fight to protect the city.

Along with these, four light novels have also been licensed by Yen Press:

I. Magical☆Explorer

Magical☆Explorer (Majikaru ★ Ekusupurōrā) is an erotic fantasy novel based in an isekai game world. It is written by Iris and illustrated by Noboru Kannataki. It takes place in the fantasy world of a game called Magical☆Explorer.

Our protagonist ends up being the side-character best friend of the omnipotent harem protagonist after entering the fantasy world. He then vows to learn magic and become stronger than anyone to defeat the protagonist of the game.

II. Cross-Dressing Villainess Cecilia Sylvie

Cross-Dressing Villainess Cecilia Sylvie (Akuyaku Reijo, Seshiria Shirubyi wa Shinitakunainode Danso Suru Koto ni Shita) by Hiroro Akizakura and Dangmill is an isekai light novel based inside an Otome game. 

The villainess lady protagonist gets reincarnated again in the game and decides to spend her time dressed as a man to avoid the miserable future that awaits her.

III. The Girl I Saved on the Train Turned Out to be My Childhood Friend

The Girl I Saved on the Train Turned Out to be My Childhood Friend (Chikan Saresou ni Natteiru S-kyuu Bishoujo wo Tasuketara Tonari no Seki no Osananajimi Datta) is a seinen type drama novel written by Kennoji and illustrated by Fly.

After getting saved by her not-so-popular childhood friend Takamori Ryo, Fushimi Hina finds herself infatuated and smitten by him. However, Ryo is entirely oblivious of Hina’s feelings towards him, making this a frustrating yet sweet story.

IV. Rust-Eater Bisco

Rust-Eater Bisco (Sabikui Bisco) is an adventure-themed light novel based in a post-apocalyptic world. It is written by Shinji Cobkubo and illustrated by K Akagashi.

Japan is destroyed and turned into a barren desert in the distant future after the disaster called ‘Rusty Wind’ hit the country. The protagonist Bisco Akaboshi sets out on a journey to find a particular kind of mushroom for his ill master.

An anime based on the manga of the franchise is also in the works. It was announced in March 2021.
