Yuuki Igarashi’s New Studio OUTLINE Animates Gen Hoshino’s MV
Star Wars: Visions is the best thing that has ever happened to otakus who love the franchise. To see the Jedi and Stormtroopers in an anime is all they could have asked for.
The one episode that stood out in the series was the tale of Lop and Ocho. Although the tragic story of the broken family shattered us, it came out as a cinematic masterpiece, and the credit goes to Yuuki Igarashi, the director.
Yuuki Igarashi phenomenally portrayed the heart-wrenching story that moved us all. One can only imagine what kind of wonders he’ll produce at his newly launched animation studio OUTLINE.
Studio OUTLINE debuted with a music video for Gen Hoshino’s new song, ‘Isekai Kongō Dai-Budōkai (feat. Obake).’
The video has a fun and quirky animation style that perfectly matches the song’s energy. It features the story of a boy who stumbles upon a mysterious house while vibing to Gen’s song in the middle of a jungle.
While inspecting the cottage, the boy gets startled by the presence of an otherworldly creature and makes a run for his life. In the process, he drops his phone and headset, which are later found by the blue creature.
The story continues with the boy trying to get his things back and the blue creature following him around. Overall, the video is fun, and the animation is immaculate.
OUTLINE is the newest addition under Twin Engine’s EOTA (Engine of the Animation) team with Bug Film and Scooter Films. Their initiative is to produce cutting-edge animation and charming characters with their work.
Star Wars: Visions Goes Global with Volume 2 Releasing in Spring 2023
Did you know that Igarashi is also the animation director of Jujutsu Kaisen? This leaves no room for doubts about the quality that his new animation studio will give us.
