The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Ep. 10 Summary
Season 2 episode 10 of The Ancient Magus’ Bride began with Marielle saving Seth’s bodyguard. Seth, Lucy, and Chise then transitioned to the nurse’s office.
In the meantime that Elias was keeping an eye on Simeon Paladilhe’s recovery, Seth filled Chise in on his relationship with Lucy. The absence of the security was noted later as Chise and Lucy walked Seth to his car. When the bodyguard was attacked, the wolves turned on them.
Since Chise appeared to be in the most danger, Elias sprang into action when he realized that Ruth and Seth were also under attack. While Elias restrained them, Lucy positively identified the attackers as the same wolves who had killed the Webster family.
Then Chise quietly ambushed the wolves by sneaking into the path of the Hunting Hounds. When one wolf died and the other cried over their pup, Chise negotiated a deal to spare their lives and let them escape.
Then, when Elias and Marielle looked into Simeon’s sickness, Seth explained to Chise where he and Lucy had come from. They discovered that the same person or people who stole The Testament of Carnamagos also attacked Lucy and Simeon’s magical talents.
After getting into an argument with Chise at the end of the episode, Lucy was attacked again. Grandma was also found to be the perpetrator of these violent acts.
