Before The Anime Premiere, Urasawa’s “Pluto” Finally Gets A Trailer
Naoki Urasawa is a mastermind in the field of crime thriller manga. Monster, 20th Century Boys, and Asadora are just a few of the works he’s responsible for that have the power to hypnotize even the brightest of brains.
Fans of Urasawa’s prior works had been hoping for an anime adaptation ever since Monster, and with Pluto, their wish came true. Almost all fans of crime fiction are going to lose their minds when they learn that Pluto will be adapted into an anime.
Netflix confirmed the premiere date of its Pluto anime adaptation based on the manga by Naoki Urasawa on October 26 during its appearance at Anime Expo. Everyone on the team and on the cast was outed during the event. The length of each of the anime’s eight episodes is 60 minutes.
There is also a brand new trailer that serves as a teaser.
The anime’s setting is briefly described in the trailer. This seems like a future time where robots are commonplace. The preview then cuts to scenes of a person and a robot being killed in separate locations.
No one can tell if the murderer is human or mechanical based on the horns left at the scene. We also learn that the culprit may be a hybrid of human and mechanical elements. The tale will revolve around how our protagonists figure out this puzzle.
Studio Genco, creators of the popular anime “High School DD,” will make the show. The remainder of the cast and crew were also introduced in the teaser. This is the list.

PLUTO
Naoki Urasawa created the manga Pluto and drew the accompanying artwork. From 2003 until 2009, it ran in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Original magazine. In 2023, an anime adaptation of the manga will debut.
The protagonist of this manga is a robot detective named Gesicht, who is looking into a series of robot murders. When Gesicht learns that he, too, may be on the killer’s hit list, things grow much more tricky.
