The Seven Deadly Sins

Written and demonstrated by Nakaba Suzuki, The Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese fantasy manga series. From October 2012 until March 2020, it ran as a serial in Kodansha’s Weekly Shnen Magazine. The chapters were later collected into 41 tankbon volumes.

Princess Elizabeth Liones of the Kingdom of Liones sets out to track down the seven most heinous criminals in the world (Nanatsu no Taizai). You’ve got Meliodas (the dragon’s wrath), Ban (the fox’s greed), Dianne (the serpent’s envy), Merlin (the boar’s gluttony), Escanor (the lion’s pride), Gowther (the goat’s lust), and King (the grizzly’s sloth).

After being falsely accused of killing Great Holy Knight Zaratars a decade ago, all sins were expelled from the Kingdom. Now that the Kingdom is in danger of falling into the hands of the crooked Holy Knights, Elizabeth must locate the Sins and their leader Meliodas.
