An Anime Based on the Manga “Sentai Daishikkaku” Has Been Leaked,

There has been a current fad for anti-hero protagonists, and “Sentai Daishikkaku” is the latest work to ride this tide. The manga was an instant hit when it was released, thanks to its unique premise and the universal appeal of a predominantly gray color palette.

Even the announcement of an anime adaptation of a manga usually takes two to three years, but this one is a little different.

The rumor that an anime adaptation of the “Sentai Daishikkaku” manga existed before it leaked is now confirmed. Footsoldier D, also known as Hibiki Sakurama, the protagonist, has been unveiled in a teaser image that was also leaked.

Additionally, Keiichi Sato will be directing the anime, and details on the cast and crew will be released at a later date. Movies like “Asura” and the “Rage of Bahamut” TV series are also Keiichi’s directorial efforts.

It’s been 13 years since the Villainous Army attacked Earth, only to be repelled by the Dragon Keepers with the help of Divine Tools. All of the enemy’s senior brass will be dead within a year, and the Dragon Keepers will be exploiting the remaining troops as entertainment.

After being forced to act out their defeat at the hands of the heroes, the nameless soldiers of the Villainous Army are reduced to servitude. Footsoldier D is sick and tired of being mistreated, so he plots his revenge.

In order to get even with the Dragon Keepers, Footsoldier D disguises himself as the antihero Hibiki Sakurama. Hibiki wants to destroy the heroes and make them pay for their wrongdoing.

The manga is so successful that it is already being adapted into a TV anime, despite not having been released until February 2021.

Do yourself a favor and check it out right now if you haven’t already. Fear not, non-readers of manga; an official statement and release date for the franchise is on the horizon.
