Heavy Metal Dark Fantasy Season 2: Official Information
The anime staff recently announced on the Netflix Youtube Channel that another season of the show would be produced, and it will premiere on January 9, 2022. Not only that, but the show’s animation team, LIDEN FILMS, is coming back for more. Season two will be directed by Takaharu Ozaki, with Yosuke Kuroda handling series composition.
The majority of last season’s cast is also coming back for season two. Kisho Taniyama, Tomori Kusunoki, and Kanae Ito are all returning as regular cast members. No news on when the anime will premiere yet. However, the release date is not until 2023.
