Apple TV’s Latest Motor Show Long Way Up to Cover Latin America
How about a trip to America Latina this fall? Well, hop on to Apple TV for a motorcycle journey through a dozen Latin American countries.
Apple TV’s latest show ‘Long Way Up’ is all set for premiere in September. The motorcycle series is produced and starred by Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman.
The series will follow Ewan and Charley as they ride through Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Mexico among other Latino nations.
As per the official synopsis, the series will cover over 13,000 miles over 100 days through 16 border crossings and 13 countries. The journey shall begin from the city of Ushuaia at the tip of South America.
Ewan and Charley will then motor through the glorious and underexposed landscapes of South and Central America in their most challenging expedition to date.
One particularly interesting aspect of this challenge will be using cutting edge technology on the backs of their electric Harley-Davidsons – “LiveWire” – in order to contribute to the sustainability of the planet.
“Long Way Up” will serve as a sequel to Ewan and Charley’s previous Long Way franchise motorcycle adventures. Others include “Long Way Round” and “Long Way Down,” which aired on British networks Sky One and BBC Two respectively in the mid-2000s.
