Bandai Announces New Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Game
Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation games stand out from the rest, even among the huge collection of Gundam games. The 6v6 combat system in both land and space with customizable Mobile Suits trumped every game before them.
The last game of the franchise came out back in July 2018. After three long years, we are finally getting another one.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced a new Gundam Battle Operation game titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A teaser trailer was released to announce the game.
The teaser shows a red-haired woman driving off a dirt road to reach a mansion in the middle of the mountains.
More information about the game will be revealed on October 19, 2021. The game is currently in development and we can expect a late 2022 release. As of now, it is not clear if the game will be getting an English release as well.
Going from the title, this doesn’t seem to be a direct sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2. This will probably be a standalone like Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation NEXT.
Many Gundam projects are currently active or in development right now, including the upcoming Gundam Breaker Battlogue anime.

Although this isn’t part of the main storyline, something is coming from that side as well.
Mobile Suit Gundam, The Witch of Mercury, which is part of the main storyline, and the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G mobile game is set for a 2022 release.
It’s safe to say next year will be good for Gundam fans.
About Gundam
The Gundam series is a science fiction anime created by Yoshiyuki Tomino and Sunrise, featuring huge robots, known as “Gundam.”
The series changes its setting in each part, ranging from Earth to far-off planets. All the shows have their own story, and some of them take place in an alternative universe.
In every story, Gundam has unique purposes. Sometimes it’s a deadly war weapon, sometimes a beautiful art or sometimes even an outdated technology.
