In the last chapter, we saw Aiku’s story. At first, he wanted to become the best striker in the world like everybody but he was forced to switch roles because of the coach who threatened him that he will not let him play in the matches.

This made football boring for Aiku. When he confronted his coach about this, things changed, his goal changed. Now he wanted to become the best defender in the world.

With this new dream in his vision, he climbed the stairs of success whether it was being invited by a series-A club or becoming the captain of Japan’s U-20 team. Now he considers himself as a wall that must be broken to become the best striker in Japan.

He acknowledges the guys at Blue Lock and their hard work but he is not going to get easy on them. In the match, Aiku was blocking Rin and after struggling sometimes, Aiku passed the ball to Sae in the last panel.
