Weekly Young Magazine’s 47th issue announced that Boichi will be returning with a two-chapter manga. The new manga will be published in the 48th issue of WYM, which will be released on 26th October.

The upcoming manga is a multi-part short story. It is named “Kare wa Soko ni Ita” or “He Was There.” A first look into the manga has arrived.

Kare wa Soko ni Ita is about a truck driver who has a secret that he cannot afford to disclose. The manga is set in the future. The character shown in the picture is probably the protagonist of the story.

The manga will be out by 26th October as a celebration for the 40th anniversary of the Weekly Young Magazine by Kodansha.

Kare wa Soko ni Ita is the comeback of Boichi to WYM after Origin ended.

The concept of the new manga is set in the future. It seems a bit like Dr Stone, especially because of the shift in the timeline and the tangible concept of the future.

Some of the other famous works of Boichi are Sun-Ken Rock and Dr Stone. Currently, he is responsible for the manga adaptation of Sho Hinata’s One Piece spinoff novels.
