English Manga Service Comikey Joins Shogakukan to Bring Eight New Titles
Comikey is unlike any other manga service you are familiar with because of a novel concept of “keys” to support your favorite creator.
The service is currently in its beta phase for international users; however, its US-based localization team has plans to partner with the major Japanese publishing houses. Additionally, it has also stated its goal to translate the older series before publishing new chapters alongside their Japanese debut.
Recently through a press release, Comikey Media Inc announced that it has partnered with Shogakukan to release eight manga titles in English digitally that will be available worldwide.
Comikey has planned to release the following manga:
- Battle in 5 Seconds After Meeting
- By Saizō Harawata and Kashiwa Miyako
- Happy Harem Making with the Mightiest Orc!
- By Rui Tsukiyo, Takashi Tsukimi, and Sakura Miwabe
- Reptile Secrets
- By Gujira
- I’m a Demon Lord. I Got Remarried to the Mother of a Hero, So She Became My Daughter-in-Law.
- By Kisetsu Morita and Miuko Ikuhashi
- Killer in Love
- By Enma Akiyama
- The Strongest Savior’s Second Chance
- By shiryu and Youkan Oota
- Don’t XXX With Teachers!

- Killer Vamp

Is Attack On Titan Manga Better Than The Anime
The first few and the latest chapters of various mangas are available for free on the Comikey website, and other chapters are set to publish as soon as the translations are complete.
For published chapters that are locked, the users can purchase “keys” in-app currency purchase comics.
Partnership with Shogakukan is quite a feat due to it being the owner of Shueisha and part of Hitotsubashi Group, one of the largest publishing groups in Japan.
A new manga service means more options for manga readers regarding their preferred service and faster translation without relying on piracy.
