Fena: Pirate Princess Releases New Trailer before Japanese Debut

Being a Crunchyroll original show and no source material for the story, Fena: Pirate Princess has already surpassed many people’s expectations. Now, it is time for domestic audiences to enjoy the show.

The series has already released seven episodes on Crunchyroll and Adult Swim worldwide but is yet to make its Japanese television run. So, they are going the whole nine yards with the promotion again.

The official website for Fena: Pirate Princess has released a promotional video for the anime. The series will premiere on October 2, 2021, in Japan on Tokyo MX, BS Asahi, and AT-X.

The PV begins with Fena, about to get married, as she reminisces about the fateful night ten years ago when she last saw her father. After running away with a pirate ninja crew known as Goblin Knights, she starts to learn the ways of a pirate. We then get to see the Navy, who are trying to steal her in order to learn the truth about El Dorado.

Although the story is quite unique in itself, the most amazing thing about the show is its visuals. Just pausing the scene at a random moment when they are on the deck will make you realize the care with which every frame is produced.

Fena Houtman remembers little about her childhood. Orphaned and raised as a servant in a brothel, her life changes when she escapes to an island of pirates.
