Fena: Pirate Princess Teases Fena’s Potential Romance with A Samurai!
Whatever crosses your mind after reading the title, Fena: Pirate Princess, throw that out the window. This anime is not about a reckless pirate crew with a female captain but an innocent young girl who embarks on an adventure with a bunch of samurai!
Although the title may be a little deceptive, that does not mean the anime lacks any pirate shenanigans we know and love from One Piece. We knew the story was about solving a mystery, but it may just end up having a little bit of romance too.
The official website for Fena: Pirate Princess has released the second PV trailer for the upcoming anime. The anime will debut on 14th August on both Crunchyroll and Adult Swim with a two-episode premiere.
The above trailer shows Fena being captured by a bunch of bandits while running away from her wedding. She is then saved by Yukimaru, the boy who helped her escape from a burning ship ten years ago.
We then see Fena trying to get used to the ways of a pirate, before getting some scenes between her and Yukimaru.

The PV also previews the opening theme “Sea and Pearls” by JUNNA and the ending theme “The Farthest Shore” by Minori Suzuki.
This anime is an original story by Production IG and the same person who wrote B the Beginning. This story might not be a psychological action story, but we know we will get a good mystery.
If you are into coming-of-age stories with a thirst for adventure, keep this one on your list.
