Release Date, Plot, and Latest News about Fire Force Season 3: 2023
Anime is booming today thanks to the abundance of engaging and visually appealing animated shows in the genre. The picture “Demon Slayer,” for instance, has already broken a few box office records.
In contrast, the blend of conventional shonen action with the supernatural in “Jujutsu Kaisen” has possibly made it a must-watch series. We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention “Fire Force,” whose unique take on a squad of firefighters and the concept of spontaneous combustion has led to the series’ well-deserved popularity.
The anime “Soul Eater,” which is based on Atsushi Kubo’s manga of the same name, follows Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic with the ability to set his feet on fire.
Shinra joins up with another pyrokinetic organization, Special Fire Force Company 8, to combat Infernals, humans who have suddenly combusted and turned into living blazes.
“Fire Force” finished its second season in December 2020, making it one of the top five most watched anime television programs on Amazon Prime Japan (Via Anime News Network).
Fans are definitely excited for another season of the beloved show, so here’s what we know about “Fire Force” Season 3.
Fire Force Season 3: Publication Date?
Season 3 of “Fire Force” was announced officially on May 16, 2022 via the show’s official Twitter account. At the moment, no release date or production updates are known. We had been wondering for a long time whether the anime would be renewed for a third season, so we could keep our excitement going while we waited for Crunchyroll or Funimation to reveal the release date.
With 2022 coming to an end and no new information, “Fire Force” Season 3 will debut in early 2023. Because the first two seasons of the anime aired in the summer, we could be looking at a six-month wait for new “Fire Force” episodes if they follow suit.
How does Fire Force Season 3’s plot unfold?
There is no concrete plot information for Season 3 of “Fire Force.” We can guess what Shinra will be up to in Season 3 because the anime has mostly mirrored the manga.
Season 1 of the anime includes volumes 1-11 of the manga, while Season 2 covers the remainder of volume 11 through some chapters of volume 20.
Unless the anime series deviates into filler territory like “Naruto” or “Bleach,” Season 3 may adapt volume 20 to the end if the manga is nearing its completion.
The ending of Season 2 foreshadows a wider future conflict between Company 8 and the Evangelists. Shinra’s training was pushed to a new level dubbed as “The Press Of Death” in order for him to become more crucial in dealing with the Company’s more lethal opponents.
Meanwhile, the assassination of Captain Hague of Company 4 in the season finale dealt a heavy blow to the heroes. Shinra, on the other hand, can build an Adolla Link, allowing him to witness Hague’s final moments.
Season 3 will most likely begin off where Season 2 left off, with Company 8 joining forces with the Tokyo Empire to face the Evangelist’s formidable forces.
Who will appear in Fire Force Season 3?
The official cast roster for Season 3 of “Fire Force” has yet to be published. Based on the continuity of the series’ first two seasons, we should expect a mostly returning cast.
Ogun Montgomery, performed by Makoto Furukawa (Japanese) and Zeno Robinson (English), and Scop, voiced by Kentaro Ito (Japanese) and Tyler Walker (English), were the sole new characters (English). Shinra’s voice actors, including Gakuto Kajiwara (Japanese) and Derick Snow (English), are expected to return (Via Anime News Network).
Season 3 will be animated by the same firm, David Production, that created the first two seasons. Tatsuma Minamikawa replaced Yuki Yase as director of “Fire Force” Season 2. Unless otherwise stated, Minamikawa is slated to return as director for season 3, along with Kazuhiro Miwa as executive animator and Kenichiro Suehiro as composer.
