Horimiya’s New Anime & Manga Volume Delights Fans

Many of us became instant fans of the Horimiya anime when it premiered on Funimation in the winter of 2021. But the Horimiya manga has been a smashing success for years, selling in the millions.

Fans have praised the rapidity with which Hori and Miyamura’s relationship develops. Their development is more pleasant; their story is not the agony of a will-they-won’t-they affair, but rather the blossoming of a budding love. It’s success comes as no surprise, and we have some exciting news for fans.

Fans of the well-known Horimiya manga series will be interested in a new development included in the June issue of Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine. According to the announcement, “A Piece of Memories”, the seventeenth edition of the compilation series, will be released on July 18.

Written by Daisuke Hagiwara, this revised and updated edition includes four all-new chapters and a foreword by series creator HERO. In order to keep readers interested, Monthly G Fantasy will be serializing these chapters over the course of three issues, starting with the August issue.

There was also news that an anime titled “Horimiya Piece” will debut in July, after the announcement of the manga. Storylines from the original manga will be brought to life in this new anime that were glossed over in the first series.

As July approaches, so does the expectation for the next Horimiya releases. The release of the fourth chapter and a special anime in the upcoming volume of “A Piece of Memories” is much anticipated. Truth be told, this year has been a bountiful one for Horimiya series lovers.
