Josee, the Tiger and the Fish Releases Extended PV And Key Visual

Based on a Japanese short story of the same name by Seiko Tanabe, Josee, the Tiger and the Fish is an upcoming Japanese anime movie about a young girl named Josee whose life is bound to a wheelchair and a college student Ksuneo.

The official website for the film Josee, the Tiger and the Fish unveiled an extended promotional video and new visual on Wednesday. The movie is scheduled for release on December 25th, 2020.

The visual features Josee and Tsuneo clad in winter clothes, featuring the onset of the winter season in Japan.

The extended promotional video takes us back to the memorable first encounter between Tsuneo and Josee on a slope. “Ao no Waltz” and “Shinkai” by Eve is previewed throughout the PV which hits you right in the feels.

The video shows both the characters in contrasting phases of their life where Tsuneo is heading towards his dream while Josee is seen struggling against reality.

This begins unravelling gradually as they find solace in each other’s company.

We know that Shintaro Moriyama and Lily, from the comedy group Mitorizu, would join the voice cast. But now the staff for the movie have been revealed too.

About Josee, the Tiger and the Fish

Adapted from the novel by Seiko Tanabe, Josee the Tiger, and the Fish is an anime film by Studio Bones.

Tsuneo is a university student, and Josee is a young girl who has rarely gone out of the house by herself due to her being unable to walk.

The two meet when Tsuneo finds Josee’s grandmother taking her out for a morning walk.

The film centers on the relationship between Tsuneo and Josee
