As one of the most anticipated anime of fall 2020, Jujutsu Kaisen will have a lot to offer fans. With its unique plot and storytelling, fans are betting that the anime will be a sure hit.
Yuuji Itadori, an unusual high school student, gets involved in an occult mystery.
However, what he doesn’t know is that there is no escape once he is engaged with a curse. Is he determined enough to sacrifice himself and save his friends?
A trusted Twitter source has just announced that the Jujutsu Kaisen anime will be divided into two cours.
Jujutsu Kaisen anime is scheduled for a 2nd October 2020 debut. It will premiere on Crunchyroll outside of Asia and on Netflix Japan.
A cour is a collection of episodes of an anime that are released at once. An anime season can consist of more than a single cour. A cour can have anywhere from 10-14 episodes.
Thus Jujutsu Kaisen will be produced and distributed in two batches. It can have 20-25 episodes, and the cours will have some gap between the release dates.
For fans who are worried about the anime ending too soon or catching up to the manga, this is some great news.
The second cour of the anime might be released sometime in early 2021.
