What is the katana man doing?
Modern Japan is not a place for Katanas. The Katana man, or Daido Hagane, is irritated about the lack of swords. He needs one to fight and without it, he is just an old man.
He finally finds one, only to realize that it is a toy from Kimetsu no Yaiba.
This causes more distress in him and he continues with his search. Finally, he runs into Maki and gets a sword. We see that Daido is a reincarnated samurai – earlier, he used to be an unmatched swordsman.
He is special since he only fights with his swords and not cursed energy. We will see more of his power in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 196 spoilers.
What is the Sumo guy doing?
The sumo guy, or Miyo Rokujyuushi, is simply trying to find a sumo opponent. He was outside of a colony and was denied by others.
Finding no opponents, he kept searching frantically, until he reached Maki and the others, roughly at the same time as Hagane.
At the end of the chapter, he says hakkeyoi to create a small, simple domain. It is a sumo ring, where he can fight. Will Maki be his opponent? How strong he is compared to Dagane?

What is Maki doing?
Maki cut off Naoya’s arm, trying to attack Noritoshi. That is when she was interrupted by Hagane. The seemingly crazy man went ahead and grabbed her sword.
Immediately, the pressure from him surprised everyone! It was not cursed energy; just raw bloodlust.
Hagane can’t see Naoya but he can sense him. The man also realizes that this sword is bewitched! Maki is shocked to realize he can’t see Naoya. However, Hagane says that if he can see everything except 1 thing, it is the same as seeing.
This prompts Maki to think about what she is missing from her arsenal. We might see Maki getting a further power-up in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 196. Maybe this can bring her closer to the power of Toji.
