Jump Festa 2022 to Go Hybrid with Online and In-Person Events in December
After Jump Festa was forced to go online last year due to the pandemic, the event is back in person and hopefully with some juicy announcements.
Despite the online-only nature of the event last year, some people actually preferred it to be that way, especially the international attendees. It seems like Jump Festa did not let that go unnoticed this time around.
Jump Festa 2022 will be held both in-person and online on December 18 and 19, 2021. The in-person event will take place at Makuhari Messe Event Hall in Chiba prefecture.
The following Jump series will get a super stage at the event:
- One Piece
- My Hero Academia
- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba
- Jujutsu Kaisen
- Dr. Stone
The online event will be similar to last year. Attendees will be able to navigate through the Jump Festa Island online and on the smartphone app, with live streaming for some stage events.
Tickets for the in-person event will be limited and will only be available through a lottery. Shonen Jump magazine has stated that the physical event’s nature is subject to change due to obvious reasons. In any case, the online event will remain unhindered.
Considering the highlighted series for the event, we may be getting the anticipated new season announcements for Dr. Stone and Jujutsu Kaisen. Some manga like Mission: Yozakura Family and Undead Unluck are also rumored to get an anime adaptation.
In midst of all the expected good news, there is a little bit of disappointment for Bleach fans. Given the manga’s revival and the upcoming anime, the franchise was expected to get a super stage. Despite that, we might get some updates about the anime.

As it always is, Jump Festa is the center point for all the major manga and anime announcements. Let’s just hope we get some regarding our favorite series.
