‘Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni’ Anime Film to Release in January 2023
Land A and Land B have been at war for such a long time that God himself had to come down and resolve the conflict. God told them to get Land A’s most beautiful girl wedded to Land B’s smartest young man, sparking the events of ‘Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni.’
It is a classic tale of a sweet slow-burn romance between two people of the same mindset and opinions. Despite being an underrated manga, it is now slated to receive an anime adaptation.
The staff has revealed that the ‘Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni’ anime film is scheduled to open in Japan on January 27, 2023.

While making this prophecy, God didn’t realize how much the rulers of both countries hated each other. Land A’s king got his illegitimate daughter, and Land B got a librarian’s son to marry each other and get it over with.
However, in the beginning, when the couple was supposed to meet, Land A sent a cat to Land B, and the latter sent a dog. Since the princess, Sara, and the librarian’s son, Naranbayar wanted peace, they let it slide, as this would have escalated into another war.
As fate would have it, Sara and Naranbayar eventually met each other due to the pets they kept from the other kingdom. Slowly, the two began falling in love, creating a problem for those who wanted to instigate a war between the two countries.

About Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni
Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni is a shoujo manga by Nao Iwamoto. It was first published in the Flowers magazine by Shogakukan in October 2014. It will also receive an anime film by Studio Madhouse.
The manga is based on the conflict between two countries: Land A and B. God commanded Land A to send their most beautiful woman, and Land B to send their smartest man so they could get married. The tale narrates how the duo will try to bring their nations closer.
