‘Konyaku Haki’ Novel Set for Anime Debut
There’s something about stories with lengthy titles that annoys and intrigues you at the same time. Sametarō Fukada and Sakura Miwabe’s novel series Konyaku Haki also fall in the same category.
The novel’s full title basically gives out the entire plot, leaving no room to wonder or theorize. However, it still gets you curious about what exactly it will be, and that curiosity often results in reading the whole thing in one go.

Pash Up! manga website has revealed an anime adaptation for the Konyaku Haki Sareta Reijō o Hirotta Ore ga, Ikenai Koto o Oshiekomu novel series.

The series’ full title translates to ‘I Picked Up a Rich Girl Whose Betrothal was Canceled and Teach Her to Be Naughty ~I’ll Make Her Eat Delicious Food, Wear Fancy Clothes, and Be the Happiest Girl in the World!’
Although it’s pretty self-explanatory, I’ll still share some more details about it. The novel features Allen, a sorcerer living deep in the forest, and Charlotte, a girl who has run away from her hometown.
After getting lost, Charlotte is found by Allen, who takes pity and hires her as a maid in his castle.
It is revealed that Charlotte was betrayed by her family and fiance after being falsely accused of a crime. Reminded of his youth and experiences, Allen decides to teach Charlotte to do bad things and spoil her rotten.
