Meet the Demon King and Co. in April Anime, I’m Quitting Heroing’s PVs

Most stories end as the hero defeats the demon, but I’m Quitting Heroing focuses on the hero’s bad luck after the battle.

Leo, the protagonist, is feared by the masses due to his strength, and now the only way for him to live in peace is to crawl to the demon army and beg for a job. If the demon king, Echidna, kicks him out, she has every right to.

I’m Quitting Heroing will be released in April 2022. The series has tons of lovable characters, so some character trailers have been released to get you acquainted with them.

First of all, we have Leo, the brave and mighty hero who is tired of all the foolish humans who think they can kill him. The guy defeated the whole army of demons single-handedly, how dumb do you have to be to try killing him?

The next is Echidna, the demon king who has studied really hard to reach this position. She cannot even bear the thought of Leo and is the main barrier against his employment.

Steiner is the magic general of Echidna and manages the army. She is the strongest magic user, but her weak physique led to her defeat. She might get mad when Leo calls her weak, but she is the problem solver of the group.

The next is Lily, the narrator of all the character videos. She turns into a huge wolf during battles and has had a crush on Leo ever since he defeated her. This chibi girl is like a brainless puppy.

Mernes is the most introverted of the bunch who has to remind Lily to keep quiet every two minutes. He is the shadowless general and can erase his presence. Leo defeated him by blowing up a whole church.

I’m Quitting Heroing will premiere soon with all its crazy characters, and Echidna will have a huge headache to deal with. Leo had imagined that this job would let him laze around, but the reality is quite different.

Now, the hero is in charge of bettering the demon army’s poor working conditions.

I’m Quitting Heroing is a light novel series by Quantum and Hana Amano. Kadokawa has been publishing it from 2017.

Leo becomes unwanted in the peaceful human world because of his unmatched strength. Exiled, he joins the Demon King’s Army, using his power to rebuild the broken army. Leo encounters Echidna and asks why she invaded the human world, leading to an unexpected story.
