My Hero Academia
This is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Khei Horikoshi. It began serialization in Weekly Shnen Jump in July 2014 and has since been collected into 27 volumes. The characters in the story live in a world where a majority of the population possesses extraordinary powers (or “Quirks”) of some kind.
Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist, is a normal guy who wishes he could be a hero but was born without a Quirk. As fate would have it, the greatest hero in the world spots him and invites him to enroll at U.A. High School, a prestigious academy specifically designed to train heroes. The series has received acclaim from audiences all over the world, not just in Japan.
My Hero Academia Chapter 379: Summary!
First, we see Kurogiri in a flashback to the time right after he woke up in Central Hospital. In the midst of everyone’s yelling and Doctor Mario’s insistence that Nagant be restrained, she orders him to keep quiet and reveal the enemy’s whereabouts. Since she is currently under police custody, the doctor says he is unable to give her any information.
However, Nagant claims that Midoriya personally recruited her to join the fight. Then Rock Lock appears and says he’ll let her fight alongside the others. He gives her a gadget that has everything she needs to know about the bad guys. Nagant claims she owes a debt of gratitude to Hawks and Deku for rescuing her.
Fingers start shooting out of his mouth as My Hero Academia 379 continues. That’s Shigaraki’s fingers there, by the way. His plan to utilize others backfired, and he laughs at AFO. The only reason he was brought up, he claims, was so that he could steal One for All by using the hatred he has for All Might.
Even though the fusion appeared to be successful, Shigaraki continued to conceal his “origin” from himself.
Eventually, AFO gives up hope and orders Kurogiri to teleport him to his true body, but Kurogiri starts malfunctioning. Although he claims Shigaraki needs protecting, Shirakumo’s face becomes increasingly visible as he asks, “Who… where…. friend?”
Shigaraki has stated that he is not in need of AFO treatment. Like Nagant’s and Gentles’, his heart will never give up. Later, with a grin on his face and his hair back to its usual length, he concludes his speech by saying, “our wish is to destroy everything that has to do with that house.”
Mirio is perplexed, but Deku has already rescued him from the airborne U.A. Gentle and Shigaraki says, “and that’s the only thing that will save me, hero.” Deku explains that the flying coffin is useless now that Shigaraki has all his quirks. I won’t allow that,” Deku firmly states.
My Hero Academia Chapter 380: Spoilers
In the opening moments of My Hero Academia Chapter 380, Gentle Criminal informs La Brava that the strength of his Air Trampoline is diminishing. While La Brava has made progress on the new software, more work needs to be done. Gentle sees the students from the school of business filming him from the castle’s edge.
When he orders them inside, they insist that they will not abdicate their responsibility to tell the people the truth about the heroes. The flying fortress is back in the air after La Brava finishes her program. As a result of the students’ powerful oratory, she decides to go live on the internet and report on the recent events at UA.
Immediately after, one of the Twice clones says, “We must destroy all heroes,” and pushes Aizawa off the island. When Present Mic sees him coming, he leaps out to catch him, and the two of them vanish through one of Kurogiri’s portals. Mandalay counters that Kaminari’s claim that Kurogiri rescued the two educators because they no longer had access to Erasure.
The outcome of Deku’s fight with Shigaraki is our last, best hope. Meanwhile, Tomura has managed to free himself from BlackWhip, and Deku is using Fa Jin to fight back.
