Out of all the three, the English dub of the series has been the most consistent. With only one delay this season due to COVID, this seems to be for somewhat similar reasons.

My Hero Academia English dub will be delayed by a week. The dub of season 5 episode 19 titled “More Hero Than Anyone” will be released on August 28, 2021.

No official reason for the delay was revealed by Funimation, but it may be to ensure the proper work scheduling for the English cast.

The dub for the series initially came after two weeks of the original release to accommodate the cast, who was working from home at the time. After some of the restrictions were lifted, the studio might still have to abide by some restrictions.

Even with a one-week delay before, the dub had caught up to the original release because of two breaks within a month’s time. Maybe to not overwork or rush their cast, Funimation may have decided to maintain that two-week delay.
