As soon as this corporate slave landed in a fantasy game world, all he could think about was his pending piles of work back home. Yuji’s obvious response was the whole thing was a dream, and he instantly decided to kill himself to wake up.
When that didn’t work, he started reading until his alarm clock rang but accidentally befriended and tamed slimes due to his monster tamer abilities.
My Isekai Life anime will make you witness Yuji’s struggle as an isekai protagonist after he also gains the sage class abilities and becomes overpowered. It will premiere on July 4 with a one-hour special that will contain the first two episodes of the series.
The trailer previews Yuji surrounded by a pack of round, shiny and cute slimes. These slime monsters are the reason why Yuji became a sage class character, as they helped him absorb the knowledge of the library he woke up in.
It also teases the supporting characters Dryad and Proudwolf, who are Yuji’s trusty companions and allies. Without them, Yuji would have been in deep trouble on multiple occasions.
The video also previews the anime’s opening theme song, “Mujikaku no Tensai” (Obliviously Talented) by the rock band Non Stop Rabbit.
Additionally, the franchise has also revealed a key visual featuring a mid-fight sequence of Yuji against a ferocious monster with slimes and Dryad helping him.
