‘My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog’ Anime Reveals 2nd PV and Key Visual
On November 8, the official website for the anime adaptation of Gosei Furukawa’s My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog manga revealed a promotional video and a new key visual. The anime is set to premiere on Tokyo MX on January 6 and on BS11 on January 9.
The website also announced the opening theme song artists. The opening song, “Gyakyū☆Fuwaku☆Fraction” will be performed by several artists, including Miyuki Hashimoto, Yui Sakakibara, Rita with AiRI, Ayumi, Rekka Katakiri, Yumi Kawamura, Sayaka Sasaki, Duca, Mitsuki Nakae, Nomiko, Aki Misato, yozuca*, rino, and riya from eufonius.

The series is being directed by Takashi Andō, and Hisashi Saito is the visual director. Kazuaki Morita is taking on the roles of character designer and chief animation director, and Tatsuya Kikuchi is composing the music. Kōhei Yoshida is handling the sound direction.
The series has been described as a “dog’s viewpoint romantic comedy” and centers on a protagonist who wakes up one day to discover he has been turned into the pet dog of his classmate Karen Inukai.
The manga was originally launched in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine R in 2020 and was also published on the Magazine Pocket website. From March 17, the manga shifted from Magazine Pocket to Suiyobi no Sirius and YanManga Web sites.
The anime also released a new swimsuit key visual and a “wonderful” version of the new trailer, which removes some of the censorship presented in the original trailer and is age-restricted.

My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog is a manga by Gosei Furukawa. It was published on March 17, 2020 and will receive an anime in 2023.
The story is based on a high school student who suddenly wakes up to be in the body of a puppy. Coincidentally, he gets picked up by Inukai-san, the popular girl in his class.
As they live together, Pochita, the dog, slowly realizes that Inukai is very cold to others but a kind soul to her pet.
