New PV for ‘Dr. Stone: New World’ Anime’s Part 2 Reveals October Debut

‘Dr. Stone’ season 3 premiered with an adaptation of the original manga’s Treasure Island arc and was always supposed to be split into two parts—which doesn’t make the wait any easier. ‘Dr. Stone’ season 3 began airing in 2023, with the first 12 episodes running from April to June.

The shonen anime entirely shifted gears and embraced a new genre with a tight spy thriller arc in the first part of its third season, while still giving amazing scientific advancements and heartbreaking emotion.

On Saturday, a live-streamed event for Dr. Stone: New World, the third Dr. Stone anime season, revealed a new video for the second cours (quarter of a year) of the season. The video reveals that the second cours will premiere on October 12.

The new promo video introduces new allies and enemies that add to the mystery of what caused the petrification of Earth in the first place. This arc will make significant progress toward the upcoming conclusion of the story.

Additionally, the event also revealed the anime’s theme song artists. Ryūjin Kiyoshi is performing the opening theme song “Haruka” (Far Away) and Anly is performing the ending theme song “Suki ni Shinayo” (Suit Yourself).

In the final episode of Dr. Stone: New World, we see that in the end, Senku and his gang were able to find platinum, which means that they now have an unlimited supply of nitric acid or revival fluid.

The third season continues the Age of Exploration arc from the Origin of Petrification tale and will subsequently adapt the Treasure Island arc from the manga, which comprises 38 chapters.

The wait is almost over, Dr. Stone fans, and it’s high time to catch up with the latest episodes of the series, as Senku and the gang’s adventures are just a few months away.
