The one and only Marco the Phoenix will finally arrive on the island of Wano in the upcoming One Piece Episode 988 and today we share the English Sub release date and time of air.
We are finally nearing the battle arc of Wano and fans of One Piece can’t wait for the day Luffy goes against Kaido head to head to fulfill the promise he made to Luffy.
Luffy and the alliance have finally made their way into the castle and as everyone expected, the first thing they did was create chaos and attract attention from the beast pirates.
Kinemon and the gang are making their entry through the right side of the skull and will try to lure in while the main team enters through the back of the skull and thus creating a pincer attack on Kaido and Orochi.
The banquet is at full swing and instead of Queen, Apoo, and some of the beast pirates, no one is aware of the fact that the Samurai, Ninja, Mink, Pirate alliance have snuck onto the island.
Kinemon and the team have the pleasure hall in front of them, which they must pass to get closer to Kaido’s main castle. Since Sanji already entered the halls and found it empty, they assume that no one is there but is that the case?

One Piece Episode 988 Release Date
The days of break are finally over, since the Olympics have come to an end the One Piece anime will not have any break this week.
The English sub preview, title, and the release date of the upcoming episode have finally been announced and today we share it with all of you.
The One Piece Episode 988 is titled “Reinforcements arrive! The commander of the whitebeard pirates!” and will air this Sunday on 22nd August 2021 for everyone to watch online.
There will be a worldwide broadcast just like all the previous episodes and Ep 988 will be available to watch on Crunchyroll’s official website.
All of you must have heard the recent news about Sony Entertainment buying Crunchyroll and since they already own Funimation, we will get easier access to more anime titles.
Around the United States, you can stream One Piece Ep 988 English sub around 9 PM. Fans from Great Britain, London can stream the episode around 3 AM.

One Piece Ep 988 English Sub Preview
Like every One Piece episode, we got a preview of the upcoming episode that showed us the title and some sneak peeks.
The upcoming One piece anime episode title is “Reinforcements arrive! The commander of the whitebeard pirates!” and we finally get to watch the all-time favorite Marco the phoenix arrive in Wano.
When Nekomamushi went to ask Marco to help in the fight against Kaido, he refused saying he needs to stay back to take care of the village that old Whitebeard cherished.
Marco left a note with Nekomamushi for Luffy but it was never delivered because Neko has not arrived in Wano yet.

Marco The Phoenix Vs The Big Mom Pirates
The one we have all been waiting for is finally here!
Everyone knew that Marco will surely make it to Wano since he has past ties with Oden and also has great respect for Luffy and wants to help in his fight against Kaido.
According to the Episode 988 English Sub preview, Marco appears near one of the Wano ports. In the upcoming episode, Marco going against The Big Mom pirates will surely be fun to watch.
King knocked down the Big Mom pirates once and now to get knocked down the stream once again by another bird will surely be humiliating.
Marco coming to aid Luffy in such a big fight against Kaido shows how much he respects and cares for him and thus him arriving at Wano is surely a big deal.
Marco finally gets to know about Oden and since he was not able to help his Nakama in the past, he can help save his country.
