ONE PUNCH MAN Live-Action Movie recruits scriptwriters

The live-action ‘ONE PUNCH MAN’ movie is in the works under Sony Productions, and they have recruited ‘Rick and Morty’ co-creator Dan Harmon and Heather Anne Campbell as writers for the script. The movie is said to be directed by Justin Lin, who is best known for his work as the Fast & Furious franchise director.

Back in 2020, it was announced that Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner were writing the script for the movie, but now it looks like the writing is in the hands of the writers with a history of comedy and satire, Harmon and Campbell.

Not much has been released about the live-action ONE PUNCH MAN movie except from its main team. The fans are buzzing with excitement, and the expectations for the movie are currently reaching heights.

The ONE PUNCH MAN manga series was first published as a webcomic in 2009 and later republished in physical print in 2012. The series now has 26 volumes to its name and is seen as one of the best-selling mangas of all time.

Dan Harmon has had a long career enjoying writing comedy for both television and movies, from ‘Rick and Morty’ to the animated film ‘Monster House.’ Heather Anne Campbell on the other hand, is a popular comedic performer and writer, best known for co-writing the famous television show ‘Rick and Morty’ and for appearances on “Whose Line Is It Anyway.”

These days Rick and Morty is one of the top-rated comedies, and its eighth season is in the works and just about to release soon.
