Original Mecha Anime ‘Bang Brave Bang Bravern’ in Works by Cygames
Even while mecha anime may seem dated now, it’s nonetheless provided a platform for some truly original storytelling. Famous amongst fans are ‘Neon Genesis Evangelion,’ ‘Voltron,’ and ‘Patlabor. New episodes of both “Gundam” and “Transformers” have been released recently.
There’s a new original robot anime series that may be about more than just battles and strategy, despite its militaristic aesthetic.
Bang Brave Bang Bravern (Yūki Bakuhatsu Bang Bravern) received its first teaser and visual on Monday, courtesy of Cygames and Cygames Pictures. There was also the introduction of an official Twitter account and website.
Several different types of robots are seen in the video’s concept art. The show’s director and production company are also exposed. Finally, it shows color artwork of two robots, who are probably the protagonists. The image also includes a depiction of the two robots.
Although the plot, the actors, and the release date have not been disclosed, the trailer does feature concept art that hints the robots will be operated from the inside.

Feelings of ‘Gundam’ and ‘Evangelion’ are there in the teaser, although it doesn’t appear to be as futuristic. This could work in ‘Bang Brave Bang Bravern’s favor, since it may appeal to people who don’t often enjoy science fiction or space fantasy.
