The staff has announced that the anime will premiere with a special 90-minute-long first episode. Considering the amount of mystery and twists in it, the pilot episode being this long will only make the experience better.

Now coming to the story, it starts with a popular idol, Ai Hoshino, getting pregnant at 16 and taking a break from the stage. To hide the obviously controversial news, she seeks a hospital far away in a fairly remote area and is put in the care of a doctor named Goro.

Doctor Goro turns out to be a fan and promises the idol to carefully deliver her twins, only for the former to be murdered by Ai’s stalker. In a surprising twist of events, Goro is reincarnated as one of Ai’s twins, Aquamarine Hoshino.

Wait, there’s more. The other twin and Aquamarine’s sister is the reincarnation of one of the patients at Goro’s hospital, Sarina. She was a 12-year-old who died from a terminal illness and was good friends with the doctor.

Goro and Sarina, now reincarnated as Aquamarine and Ruby, go on to live their lives as Ai’s secret kids until, one day, the same stalker kills Ai. The stalker somehow got a tip about Ai’s kids and killed her for lying to her fans.

Since Goro’s memories are still intact from his previous life, he swears revenge on whoever killed his mother and entered the film industry. Simultaneously, he prevents his sister from becoming an idol so that she doesn’t suffer the same fate as their mother.
