Revenger Episode 7: Summary!
Season 7, episode 7 of Revenger was titled “Rosy Pitfall.” His coworkers took Seiku to a temple in the hopes of meeting some nuns there. When they learned the nuns were actually part of a male prostitution ring, they were shocked. One of the prostitutes, Ichinojo, became friendly with Seiku, and he promised to help him escape. Unfortunately, the nuns used opium to keep the prostitutes under control. They injected Ichinojo with a large dose when he refused to smoke it.
The fact that Seiku’s friend had become dependent on the drug saddened him greatly. Seiku enlisted the services of the Revengers to aid Ichinojo and had him chew on a gold coin. In the midst of Kurima’s pursuit of the senior nun and the Revengers’ slaughter of her companions, Liu reappeared to save the day. When he realized he was outnumbered, Liu ran away as Soji executed the head nun. The former prostitutes, among them Ichinojo, were in good hands the next day thanks to Seiku’s care.
Shishido, head of the Nagasaki Trade Union, presented evidence to the magistrate that the Revengers were responsible for Sakata’s death. Because of this, the magistrate has mandated that Isarizawa look into the matter. In private, Isarizawa cautioned Shishido against expanding the opium trade. While Shishido deliberated recruiting his own Revengers to eliminate Isarizawa.
