Plot and spoilers for Season 2 of Full Dive

Since we don’t know how many volumes of the light novel series will be adapted, we have no idea where Season 2 of Full Dive will go. In particular, it is currently unknown how far the second season will go at the start of production.

Here is a brief summary of the original work that could be adapted in the second season.

An avid gamer, Hiroshi Yuki is currently a senior in high school. When Reon Kisaragi tricks him into buying Kiwame Quest, he is in for a big shock. Kiwame Quest, a game with a decade of development behind it, aims for realism in every facet while giving the player complete freedom.

At the time, this approach was met with skepticism because gamers generally disliked games that were too realistic. The game’s servers are still live, though, so anyone can join in on the fun in this genuine VR MMO.

NPCs in the game act like humans and play the player’s childhood friends when Hiro first enters the game. By chance, Hiro kills Martin, and now the entire city guard is on the hunt for him because he is considered a criminal.

Japanese author Light Tuchihi and artist Youta collaborated on the Full Dive light novel series. In April of 2021, ENGI debuted their anime television series adaptation.

High school student Hiroshi Yūki, also known as “Hiro,” has a passion for virtual reality massively multiplayer online games. He finds out Kiwame Quest is not what it seems to be when the store manager, Reona Kisaragi, coerces him into buying it.

While trying to find his place in a world where realism is pursued to an almost religious degree, Hiroshi encounters numerous attractive female characters, all of whom are after one thing: him.
