Only days before its premiere on October 29, 2021, Sing a Bit of Harmony, a Funimation and J.C. Staff original animation film co-production, has released a lyrical music video.
The music video includes animated footage and stills from the film, featuring the song “You Need a Friend: Anata ni wa Tomodachi ga Iru.”
The one and only Tao Tsuchiya lends her voice to Shion and sings this lovely tune. The music video makes us want to move and raise our hands in the air.

The visually appealing music video makes you want to be a part of Keibu High School, which welcomes a beautifully unique transfer student. Transfer students, as we all know, are not your average students, and Shion is no exception.
Shion is an artificial intelligence that has been assigned to Satomi. The other protagonist is also shown in the music video.
We’re not the only ones interested in learning more about Satomi. The story begins with Shion barging into the room, demanding to know if Satomi, her childhood friend, is happy.
Will Shion be able to make Satomi happy? Will her quirky, happy-go-lucky charm rub off on Satomi and the rest of the gang?
In January 2022, Funimation will release Sing A Bit Of Harmony in theaters across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

About Sing A Bit Of Harmony
Sing a Bit of Harmony is an original anime film that will premiere in Fall 2021. It is co-produced by Funimation and Studio J.C. Staff.
The film’s protagonists are a happy-go-lucky transfer student, Shion, and a loner girl, Satomi. Shion is always in the pursuit of happiness. Her goal is to make Satomi happy!
Shion takes every measure possible to help others find happiness. She can even cause miracles with songs!
