The story of Sung Jinwoo, a weak underdog, rising to level up, has won hearts from all over the world. Fans are very excited about the game, and the gameplay trailer is only creating more hype. Solo Leveling was originally a web novel titled, “Once I Level Up.” The author of the novel is Chugong. The web novel was published on KakaoPage in 2016. Papyrus Label of the D&C Media later adapted it to their label. Jang Sung Rak adapted the web novel into a webtoon in 2018. The first season of the webtoon ended in March 2020. And the sequel began in April 2020. The webtoon chapters have been compiled into three volumes so far. Netmarble announced the game adaptation. Moreover, there is a drama being produced as well.

Netmarble made an announcement in their “Netmarble Together with Press” conference. They will be producing and developing the Solo Leveling Game. Moreover, the announcement revealed a gameplay trailer to show what has been in the works so far. The trailer is 64-seconds long. The viewers get a glimpse of the main characters. Many of them seem to be playable figures. There are glimpses of the battle scenes where fans can catch the light and heavy attacks. The neat and smooth graphics add to the excitement of the fans.
Plot Details
While there is no information about the plot of the Solo Leveling Game, it is loosely based on the web novel and the webtoon. Solo Leveling is the story of Sung Jinwoo, who lives in a world of magical abilities. Humans have to fight monsters in order to survive. Jinwoo is, however, a weak hunter. He barely survives any of the attacks that amount over them. One day, a mysterious program, “The System,” enters the world. This program chooses Jinwoo as its sole player and gives him a rare ability, which allows him to level up in strength without limit. The story follows Jinwoo as he explores the world and fights new monsters.
Fans expect the game to have a similar plotline. As Jinwoo gains allies, more characters may become playable. This can allow party-level boss battles. Fans are, however, not sure if they would be able to connect with other online players. The game might itself be a “Solo” game.

Solo Leveling Game: Release Details
Netmarble has not revealed any information about the release date. However, fans believe that the game will be out in 2023 or early 2024. The Solo Leveling Game will be available on both PC and Mobile. However, there is no information about a separate international release.
