The Crown S4: Lady Diana Coming To Screen

Season 4 of The Crown will be making its debut on Netflix in November 2020. Fans of the historical drama have been waiting in anticipation ever since the third season came out in November last year. The new season is dropping amidst much hype because it introduces one of the most beloved and most controversial members of the royal family- Princess Diana.  

Netflix has been teasing the fourth season with a few photos from the events that it will cover and has also dropped a release date for the season premiere. Mark your calendars – it is November 15th, 2020.

Among the featured stills from Netflix, the most popular one is Princess Diana’s legendary wedding dress. The dress, created by famous costume designer Amy Roberts, is not an exact duplicate but has been made in a fashion that captures the style of the original.

Emma Corrin, the actress who will play Princess Diana in the show, has been featured in many of the pictures released by Netflix, which hints that The Crown will tackle all the scandals around Charles and Diana’s relationship head-on.

Other photos which have piqued the interest of the viewers is that of Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher, the first woman Prime Minister of England. It will be interesting to see how Anderson handles the role of a politician, especially since her most renowned role at the moment is that of an intimacy therapist.

The Crown fans will be excited to know that the Olivia Colman-led royal family will be coming back to screen for two more seasons after the fourth one.
