The Dawn of the Witch’s Anime to Reveal an Intolerant World Towards Magic
Imagine a magical wonderland where witches and wizards are real. The Dawn of the Witch portrays a magical land but I doubt it can be called wonderful because people with magical abilities are persecuted mercilessly for no particular reason.
Kakeru Kobashiri’s “The Dawn of the Witch” light novel series features Cervil, a student at the Kingdom of Weinas’ College of Magic. He travels towards the south to undergo special training along with his friend Ross and the beastman Coudeau.
But the journey is not going to be easy as persecution of witches by the Church happens regularly.
Kakeru Kobashiri announced on his Twitter that “The Dawn of the Witch” is all set to receive an anime adaptation.
Dawn of the Witch will get its anime adaptation! This is a tribute to everyone’s support. I hope the readers and fans will like it!

So far, the broadcasting details and the studio have not been revealed by the author yet. But it is expected by the fans that further details will be provided by Kobashiri soon.
The yet-to-be-announced production house will have a massive task at hand as creating the medieval setting and atmosphere from the light novels will not be that easy. Also, good background music will be essential to create the ambiance for the anime’s setting.
Currently, a manga adaptation of the original light novels is being serialized in Kodansha since 2019. Volume 2 of The Dawn of the Witch manga was released recently by Kodansha. Volume 3 is expected to be released on May 6th, illustrated by Tatsuwo.

Will the anime be able to justify the hard work of Kobashiri? Will Cervil get persecuted like the witches in the infamous Salem Witch Trials? Or will the Church stop its cruelty?
So many questions! We will find the answers to these when the anime ultimately airs!
