The Dub and Sub of ‘The Eminence in Shadow’ Will be Available on HIDIVE in October.
The anime series ‘The Eminence in Shadow’ puts a fresh spin on the conventional isekai genre by focusing on Cid, a protagonist whose goals are unlike those of the typical hero.
One of the main reasons the anime series was such a tremendous hit is because of Cid, who defies the standards of the isekai genre with his persistent determination to slaughter his opponents in the most gruesome and horrifying manner imaginable, and Cid is not stopping as he returns for more mayhem.
The second season of the television anime adaptation of Daisuke Aizawa’s ‘The Eminence in Shadow’ (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) light novel series will premiere on HIDIVE on the same day it airs in Japan, with English subtitles and an English dub. The anime’s English dubbed trailer is presently available on HIDIVE.
Season 2 of The Eminence in Shadow will feature a trip to the Lawless City accompanied by Cid and the Shadow Garden. The next season of the anime will be based on the light novel’s third volume.
This weekend at Anime Expo, HIDIVE and Kadokawa will present the first screening of the animated film to the public. The majority of the first season’s cast and crew from Nexus Studios will be back for a second run.
Fans from all over the world will be flocking to the Anime Expo 2023 in Los Angeles to find out the latest news and developments in their favorite anime series. One of the many works that will shed light on the continuation is season 2 of “The Eminence in Shadow.”
The Eminence in Shadow
In 2018, Daisuke Aizawa’s manga The Eminence in Shadow began publishing. An anime adaptation is planned for October of 2022.
The protagonist, Cid, is fixated on developing his skills as a secret mastermind. Being reborn in an isekai world allows him to secretly amass power and carry out his ambitions.
After saving an elf, he joins a team to battle the Diabolos cult, which turns out to be nothing more than a fabrication of his own mind. The cult, however, proves to be genuine, giving him a real adversary to combat.
