This July, Chibi Demon Lord will meet Slob Hero in ‘Level 1 Demon Lord’
A Demon Lord who came back for payback was left dissatisfied. It’s a comedic take on the Demon Lord’s unfinished business with the hero, which can only be resolved once the hero is back in his prime.
Therefore, the Demon Lord must form an uneasy alliance in order to regain his nemesis. How long that lasts and how fruitful his efforts prove to be are also unknowns at this point.
On Friday, a new promotional image and video for the ‘Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero’ anime were posted on the series’ official website. In the video, the concluding theme song is previewed and the release date of July 3 is announced. HIDIVE will also host the broadcast.
Max, the protagonist, is in his chamber when the Demon Lord, who has come to deliver groceries, enters the frame. The demon secretary, Zenia, comes along, too. The monk Fred and the warrior Leo are later shown engaging in combat with one another. Together, they helped Max, who was trying to keep them from fighting.
Nenne’s final performance of “Mirai=Teleport” may be heard playing in the background. It was also previously announced that “One Room Adventure” by MADKID would serve as the opening theme.

It’s hard to shake the feeling that we’ve heard this “Demon Leader allying with a hero to fight him again” plot before. The portion where Max’s erstwhile comrades are at war, though, is entirely new. There’s a lot to like about this comedic series, including the animation and the designs.
Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero

Max vanquished the Demon Lord a decade ago. The Demon King went into a deep sleep to regain his strength, but when he awoke, his body was a cartoonish caricature of its former terrifying self.
When the Demon Lord decides to check in on his nemesis, Max, he discovers the powerful hero is squatting in a dirty studio. The Demon Lord then chooses to assist Max in reclaiming his former self and power.
