Time to Study as Cells at Work! Two New Spinoffs to Continue in the Manga Universe!

A novel manga series, Cells at Work! gives human cells personalities and motivations. Akane Shimizu has written a captivating story in which a red blood cell and a white blood cell play major roles. An interesting and informative view of the human body is presented in the manga.

Two new spinoff manga of Akane Shimizu’s Cells at Work! manga were revealed on Wednesday, and serialization will begin in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine’s July issue on May 25.

Cat’s Cells at Work! manga is written and drawn by Choco Aozora and Meku Kaire, while Medicine’s Cells at Work! is written by Koma Warita and drawn by Ry Kuji. Both spinoff manga being created by Shimizu Production are sure to please readers of the original series.

Followers of the Cells at Work manga! Now that I know two spin-off manga are on the way, I have something to look forward to, and I may even check them out.

Since January 2015, readers of Monthly Shonen Sirius have been able to enjoy Akane Shimizu’s manga The Cells at Work! (Hataraku Saibo). In 2018, it became an anime television series. Several offshoots by different creators have also been released, with one even becoming an anime series.

From the microscopic level of individual cells, it reveals the intricate workings of the human body. A red blood cell and a white blood cell are the protagonists since they are constantly working to keep the body healthy.

Threats to the body, such as viruses, are portrayed as villains, while many other cells and their everyday tasks are introduced.
